On the morning of our first day back at school it is going to be crazy busy!! We have a powhiri for our brand new Deputy Principal Mr Alex Milich who has come to us from Blockhouse Bay Intermediate. Our powhiri practice will begin right on 9am out on the Snr netball courts and then the powhiri will begin at 10am. Kapa haka students from last year will take a lead role in this powhiri and I have no doubt the rest of the school will follow.
Parents if you would like to attend the powhiri you are more then welcome to stay. Also parent please subscribe to our class blog using the email provider box on the side. By signing up you will receive emails whenever I/we make posts onto our blog and then you wont get any more small tales from your kids about home learning, trips etc.
I am reeeeally looking forward to this year! There are some really exciting things happening.
